Legislative districts of Manila
The Legislative Districts of Manila, namely the first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth districts are the representations of the City of Manila in the Philippine House of Representatives. Manila was originally divided into two congressional districts from 1907 to 1949, it was redistricted into four congressional districts on June 18, 1949, and into six congressional districts on October 15, 1986. From 1978 to 1984, it was part of the representation of Region IV and from 1984 to 1986, it had 6 assemblymen elected at-large.
1st District
The First District of Manila was known as the North District until 1949.

Population (2007): 197,242
4th District
District: Sampaloc
Barangay: 395–586
Area: 5.14 km²

5th District
District: Ermita, Malate, Paco (excluding Zone 90), Port Area, Intramuros, San Andres Bukid
Barangay: 649–828
Area: 11.56 km²
Population (2007): 315,961
6th District
District: Paco[Zone 90 only], Pandacan, San Miguel, Santa Ana, Santa Mesa
Barangay: 587–648, 829–905
Area: 7.79 km²
Population (2007): 261,294
